KAZ Tax & Accounting is a new firm founded by Kazuyuki Funabashi in 2019. We believe that clients’ satisfaction largely depends on the individuals who you interact with and actually perform the services regardless of where those individuals belong to and of how large the firm is.

He began his career at Kenwood Corporation (currently JVCKENWOOD) where he first undertook a roll of accounting and reporting in the headquarters. Within 12 years of his career at Kenwood, he worked for several functions and projects including international assignment in Southeast Asia where he would contribute to a start-up project to establish a factory with over 2,400 employees.
After Kenwood, he engaged with roles at several MNEs where he gained a wide variety of knowledge in the areas of tax and accounting. In the meantime, he studied tax laws to pursue a career as a tax accountant and passed the exam in 2018 to be qualified as a certified public tax accountant (CPTA) in Japan.
He is also an expert at data processing and ERP implementation from experience that he have had through his career for over 30 years. This is his unique and key strength which can add values to the services we offer.
